Miniature Raccoon
Just finished this little raccoon. He is 4" x 6" acrylic on hot press watercolor paper. I plan to enter him in the Parklane Gallery miniatures show that I just heard about 3 days ago. Which means I have been working like crazy on this to get it done in time. I am delivering it tomorrow but just read about the framing and I have the wrong kind of frame. So here's hopin' some framer in the area tomorrow will take pity on me and help me get it framed right! :)

I know you got it framed but happened with the show?
Well it turned out the little guy was a little too big to make it as a miniature. The size of the painting was ok but they felt it was borderline being 1/6 of a full sized raccoon. After seeing the show I see what they mean, there were some really tiny paintings there, very beautiful! (next year I'll know better). They did have a wall of "small paintings" where they hung those of us who didn't paint small enough which was very nice of the gallery.
