I just learned that I won Best in Show at the Puyallup State Fair art show. I don't have this years numbers but there are usually close to 1000 entries and about 700 usually get juried in. My little raccoon also won 3rd in the miniatures division (usually around 200 entries).
Thank you Rebecca! This has been a surprising year so far, I guess it does pay to make time between commissions to paint some things from my ref library. I follow your blog closely too you've been a great inspiration to me.
